The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

Final Cut, DLC from I, II and III?
So, since Final Cut is all 3 games wrapped into one, does it also include the stuff that was DLC for the 3 games as well?

Two of the DLC-s were two of the old classes - the Thaumaturge and the Arcane Mechanic. The classes in Final Cut will be those from VH 3, so obviously these DLC-s will not be included.

The other two DLC-s, Pigasus and Ink Hunt, will be included in some form, as long as I've read.

OK thanks!
I like my Thaumaturge though... :/

The Elementalist is basically the Thaumaturge with a few new skills and a slight shift in Attribute priority.

Pigasus will be used as an end-game vendor.

The Elementalist is my favorite class from VH 3, eagerly waiting to see what are his Attributes and Skills...

Same here, I picked the elementalist because it was the closest to Thaumaturge and started playing, but then stopped once I found out that Final Cut was coming out

what about the in-game rewards received for preordering the other games?
Geotarrr Oct 6, 2015 @ 11:59am
I guess they will not be transferred. They wouldn't fit with the changed mechanics.

Most of the equipment received from the Pre-order or Support Packages will not fit with the new and revised mechanics. In Final Cut, each class has restricted Chest and Head equipment slots, so in order to make the special deal equips fit, they would have had to make six entirely different sets. In one case, a class is restricted to not having an equippable helmet at all, so there would be a balance issue there as well.

On top of that, the new Attribute mechanics would have broken the stats provided and each of the items has stats far beyond the advancement curve that equipment takes across the entire game.

sorry to necro old thread

so the final cut DOESNT include all dlc from 1 and 2 at all? even in a reworked fashion?

there are many dlc for 1 and 2, so these ARENT in final cut?!?!

also im lost on why someone would have to install all 3 games as 1, vs each game as you want it. example i beat 1 and 2 but want to play only 3.

i dont own 3, and id like to start just with that one, but if the dlc exists for 1 and 2 in the final cut id love to know if not.. well seems a waste for FINAL CUT,
not sure why it wouldnt have the dlc of all in it.. just reworked.

says it has all the auras (that would include therm, and such classes) but this thread is saying it DOESNT? so even playing 1 you dont get therm class? waaahh

says all classis and auras made will be avail,

Thaumaturge was reworked into Elementalist. Arcane Mechanic was reworked into Constructor.

Blue Blood was added to the base game in its entirety then reworked for balance.

Ink Hunt was added to the narrative in Final Cut.

The Supporter DLCs are unique to their respective games. They were only made for those games and people paid extra for the premium content.

Final Cut uses the classes from VH3 through the entire game. It allows players to use the six-class system through the content presented in VH1 and VH2.

Here's the point:

VH1, VH2, and VH3 are all parts of one story. Final Cut puts that entire story together in one long narrative, so that you can use the same character for the entire thing. That's why people would want to install and play Final Cut, even if they already own the three parts of the Trilogy.

The only DLC not added to Final Cut was the DLC you could only get directly from NeocoreGames as special "Supporter Packs". They were not added because they won't work correctly with Final Cut's mechanics. Each class has different Auras it can use, the so the Treasure Hunter aura would have created a balance issue. The equipment would have required six times the amount of work to make it available, because all six classes use different types of chest and head armor. So it wasn't worth it to add those in.

so this isnt a 1 2 3 game into 1..

its just 1 game

waaah

i mean I got over 30 hrs in just vh1, muchless the entire pack here that should be 1 2 and 3 = final cut. in terms of quests and story..

im soo utterly confused. on that mark, seems its only 30 hrs ish long, which is the lenght of about each game solo

60-80 hrs for vh 1 +2 +3

im lost why the final cut would be less time by half..

shrug idk

A single play through of Van Helsing 1 is expected to take between 10 and 25 hours in length.
A single play through of Van Helsing 2 is expected to take between 10 and 30 hours in length.
A single play through of VanHelsing 3 is expected to take between 8 and 20 hours in length.

Final Cut removes some of the unnecessary side quests that do not help the narrative, adds in the Ink Hunt DLC as part of the main story, then takes out the break points where each part ends, replacing them with new narrated cutscenes. The final product is the same story as all three combined, with an expected play time of between 25 and 50 hours for a single character to complete. If you skip all side-quests (not recommended) then it will take you about 20 hours to finish VH1-2-3 all together. It'll still take around 25 hours to finish Final Cut using the same method. Final Cut doesn't take any less time to finish a single play through than doing all three at once would.

For example: my first play through of Final Cut took me over 70 hours to complete, because I was testing the game and sifting through every nook and cranny. My fifth play through, however, took a mere 22 hours, because I was already familiar with everything I needed to know and where to go, as well as having much more powerful equipment at my disposal for the later play throughs.

well I do want the hi res pack, 60gb + unknown
Also I played twice on VH1, hence prolly my longer play.

idk im just trying to figure out if its worth getting just VH3 then trying for the free upgrade code to get VH3 and the final cut vs just buying the final cut which seems to have quite a lot omitted.
or rather replaced idk.

ty for all the info though mate truly, im still a bit confused but thats all on my end, not sure if this game warrants the 16$ spent, vs again just getting VH3.. after owning vh1 and vh2 (no dlcs)

BE4S7 Mar 16, 2016 @ 2:21pm
If you get VH 3 you cant import your characters from VH 1 and 2. You have to start a new character and VH3 has max level cap at 30 again. Given these facts id 100% go for Final Cut which will give you everything VH3 has to offer + you will have more advanced endgame since you can go up to level 100 and beyond. However nothing stops you from buying VH3 and getting the free upgrade to have all 4 games.

but are they really still offering that code? ive heard some not getting it,
while id love to get 3 then just get the free FINAL CUT also there by giving me all 4 games im hesitiant on doing so due to some issues others have shown in posts.

unsure if they still offer the code,
but so far I do own 1 and 2 on steam, here.. and 3 is on sale but im lost what id do after that to show i own em all, even after reading the news on how to do it, people post on their forums that they wont give the code for FC out due to something.. but not many say what

is this still valid?
