Fate is the currency to spend on Keys, rerolling Adventure Map or buying upgrades for God-likes.
You should always keep grinding Glory, because those boosts you can buy through the Glory tab are pretty powerful and will apply to every level 100 character you use in Adventure Mode.
And of course, Fate does eventually offer a lucky break to get God-likes. You can earn Fate on any Adventure you complete and through the Arena, not just on the Challenges, so it adds up over time.
*The only plus of Fate preservation i see now is the ability to get millions of gold and a slim chance of god-like items. But it is getting harder to get Fate points solo, since challenge run goals have ramped up so high:kill 50000 enemies, spend 10000000 gold, etc.
The only somewhat fast way to try getting Fate is totry to push the arena past 50th wave.
BTW, is the Glory soft-capped at 100?Is there a way to reset/respec glory?
I'm pretty sure the cap on Glory is 300. It's just going to take quite a bit of Glory to gain each level in it after about level 150. I'm at level 180 right now, and it takes a good six to eight maps to gain a single level.
There is no way to reset or respec Glory, so after around level 50, start planning for your Glory bonuses fairly carefully.
My advice for the Gold Key vs Silver Key is to go for the God-likes with the Gold key. You can easily farm tons of gold for the Pigasus on Fearless or IO Difficulty maps, and the God-likes are definitely superior to Epics or Sets. On the other hand, not every Set piece is superior to every Epic. I've actually got a Phlogistoneer that I use exclusively Epics on because the stats provided outweigh all of the Sets I've come across so far. Even my Bounty Hunter that can farm IO3 only uses two Set pieces from two different Sets; the rest of his gear is very powerful Epics and a couple of God-likes. So for some classes, Sets are not really a reliable upgrade if you spend the time farming for Epics and Fate and use the Artifact Forge prodigiously.
