You can have fun levelling and get full epic equipment from ~12 upwards: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1142539512 and jump back into Story mode whenever you want a change. You could do similar in the Scenarios in Adventure mode to build your Fate points up. It breaks it up ;)
As far as I know, there's no trainer for the online mode, maybe there is for offline - but the chars will be non-interchangeable, your best chance is to find a taxi party to 'carry' you - drops will be mostly at the level of the party creator, so you'll need to forge them to create 'good' items to use (high M/F/Gold will help), levelling will initially be fast but scale down as you level up.
I just want to evaluate the skills. And find what works / doesn't work.
I know it's late, but I just started playing and was wondering the same, and I think I just found it. *spoilers* There's a level with a giant spider, when attacked itll spawn minions indefinitely, just let them kill you before the giant spider dies and you can teleport back and repeat.
If only more games were like that haha! With that said, I feel like Martyr is such a step back compared to van Helsing.
