The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

Best starter class for someone completly green to this game
Never played other van helsings,i tried protector but that was grueling experience(i think that it requires good items to be farmed before in other classes)

Constructor is easy mode, just work over abylities cooldown & minions life through auras, and get damage as flat elemental from items, keep the difficulty up to date if you can, because minions benefit from it too(the game considers them as monsters, and they get all their difficulty bonuses for some reason). Once you get the best robot-minions get rid of the cooldown% aura, because the skills themselves have the cd% reduction, and get the Gun Platform aura, which is absolutely pogchamp and biggest damage dealer. Once you have it + auto-repair you are pretty much there doing IO5 easly if you can avoid aoe attacks.

If you don't like that kind of summoner, pick the elementalist. The quickest currency farmer, QoL(Quality of Life) and time saviour due to teleportation + makes copies of himself while teleporting which distract enemies from hitting him. He can either leave lasers from sky on the ground that afk kill for him/storm elemental, or has lots of abylities that have % to instakill everything except Nemesis(nemesis are yellow name-coloured ones, they almost do not exist on the game). Each teleportation jump/blink gives you rage points, so you practically never run out, and all your skills can always use 3/3 power-ups and be spammed.

Red stat increases your weapon damage, which directly adds to your minions damage, because all the damage skills in the game deal a % of your weapon damage as their damage. Yellow stat further boosts that "base" of your minions damage, which the "flat" from your weapon firstly indicates, and blue stat gives your minions health, so short of saying, the first 2 stats are excellent, meanwhile blue is good, but not that much wow. You get going good by stacking the first two everywhere you can on your Constructor, but that's more of a late-game thing where you start to craft and implement essences on your gear with alchemist perk. For example my end-game Constructor has 1k, 1k, 600 stats. He is the most complicated in terms of abylity points, other classes are pretty much all Yellow stat stack only and nothing else, except for Phlogistoner who is Red stat stacker.

I mean... Im think the default hunter class, is col, its what the first games story was written around and makes sense in some of the dialog. (like how Van hellsing cant understand the science behind most machines)

I enjoy protector the most, because I totally love melee classes. Unfortunately this game must have only him whom is cool, because the umbralist is wack for me. He almost has no clear speed. Protector is like survivability + micromanagement(if hardest difficulty) + clearspeed which is extremely enjoyable and fun to play with.

Bounty Hunter definately isn't for someone who is green at understanding how HnS games work. Low health + Micromanagement + Fine damage, althrough all other classes in here shine with a higher survivability and way higher damage. BH would probably make the game for someone new pretty harsh. Same way as protector, here even worse for a green I guess.

I am not green to HnS but this game is like much diffrent HnS,good example it doesnt force u to play over and over again that same story to cap level, enemies scales with u.I play along with Van,Sacred 2 and Grim Dawn and those totally differs from Van while they are very similiar to themselves

Btw about Constructor what is better turrets or bots?? Bots drops like fly so i wonder if turrets are any good

Work your own solution through. You can pretty much respec abylity & skill points endlessly as long as you keep killing monsters, which is a regular basis. If the summons health is low, then you didn't take the good abylity points/good skill/good aura, or you're playing on a way too low difficulty level. That's it. Experiment out

Protector is actually extremely ez to start with, with no gear twinking from other chars too. Started a hardcore protector who I never played before and made it to lvl 71 while keeping difficulty maxed out the minute I could raise it. But Constructor is by far the easiest in terms of usability for a first timer.

I play all the classes, I find Protector to be the most survival class. With the right build he can deal damage as well, beside his tanking.
