The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

Van Helsing 2 or Final Cut, after Van Helsing 1?
So, i completed first game after getting the first and second together (god remembers how) and I liked it, planned to do the second game and then i got Final Cut incredibly cheap and bought it without thinking what it really was, just saw positive reviews. Now i understand that it is a pack and remaster of all 3 parts (didn't know Van Helsng 3 did exist at all), but really don't wanna play first game again.

My queation: Is it possible to skip the first game content if i install Final Cut, and play directly from the second game and on?

No. Final Cut is one seamless story (a compilation of the story in the original 3 games). The balancing is improved and some kinks have been worked out. In general it's a more polished game. You get to choose from 6 classes, instead of 3. The skill tree will have some changes as well. You cannot import characters from any of the original 3 games.

If you play VH2, you can import your VH1 character into it. Nevertheless, there were enough changes on VH3 to make it impossible to import a character from VH1 or VH2. So, even if you got VH3, you would still have to start with a brand new character. In Final Cut, you'll be able to play the same character from start to finish.

So, if I take FC now, I need to play it from the beginning, I cannot skip game 1, right? I am afraid of replaying 20 hours from Van Helsing 1 again, even tho I liked it i don't think it is worth replaying. Thanks for your thorough first answer!

In Final Cut, do a speed run to where #1 left off ^^

Don't grab the Domovoy Sword at lvl 7/8 though, leave it for collection at lvl 96+!

Al right, it sounds like it is best idea to actually do the final cut from the beginning after all, so i ll postpone the game until i have nerve to do it meticulously, and skip the second game entirely. Thanks for giving me an insight mate!

There are other side quests/'secrets' that hand out decent Epics, or Epics with high 'special' stats. Another early example, an Epic Trophy with the 2nd* highest M/F stats range:
[m] Rookery
[q5] Clean Water - from Darko Palarier
- Stop the Vodyanoy gang
-- Find the water tank and clear out the baddies
--- Return to Darko
---- Completion 5000xp 2000g 1 ap
----- [hc] He asks if you want a hat - accept it and you receive Darkos Hat - epic trophy.

^ best left until 96+ to convert it. (96 is the final step up for item stats, they raise on n1 and n6).

If you're planning on staying around to build Fate points for Godlike items and pimping them up, you'll need a good Magic/Gold set: higher M/F = greater % of getting Godlikes from the Gold chests + more Gold from Chests/Chimera for buying a few specific Set items from the Pigasus, esp. when done at the very highest difficulty lvl, plus 3x good Trophies in the cabinet; 2x for M/F and 1x for Gold.

*Scarecrow Hat and Diamond Fang can be higher but all 3 overlap.

Item database (not perfect but mostly good enough): https://tidbi.ru/VHFC/eng/index.html
