The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

4K Not Rendering Correctly
I've created custom resolution files for both full screen and borderless full screen for 4K and no matter what I select, I cannot render correctly at 4K. I've tried flipping on and off SLI/Crossfire and either the game is super jagged at 4K or doesn't go full screen.

Right now I am running in a 2048x1152 window which works fine but it's frustrating that I cannot get 4K to work right at all.

GTX 1080 Ti
27" LG 4K Monitor
Windows 10 Pro
Latest NVIDIA driver
All settings maxed

I think VHFC was limited by desktop resolution. Does your Win10 also run in 4k?
I also remember reading something about setting the DPI scale in Win10 up.
Edit: Tried it myself right now. Set desktop res to 3840x2400, game automatically launches in that res. Tried both Windowed Borderless and Fullscreen, both worked flawlessly.

Current res in Windows 10 is 3840x2160, DPI scale is 150% --- What does 3840x2400 do?

Can you explain this in more detail please? Why the weird resolution?

NVM -- For those looking for a fix: It all had to with the desktop scaling percentage. When at 150%, everything was messed. When I reset it to 100%, even though the text is small on my 27" 4K display, everything looks absolutely gorgeous! Thanks again.

That's what I meant with the DPI scale in Win10. Wasn't sure of the right term tho, still on a Win7 myself. But it's basically the same as it was with Win7 - limited by desktop resolution.
And 3840x2400 is the 4K resolution for 16:10 screens IIRC.

My 4k monitor makes this game my 4k monitor makes this game look very pixelated. So much so I thought that the soundtrack would be would be chiptune music.

I'll try the scaling recommendation see if that helps but the game takes forever to load like 5 to 6 minutes

Same problem here... I cant set a resolution higher than 720p

There is a free DLC called van helsing: Final cut HIGH TEXTUIRES.

That makes the game load way faster about 30 seconds to a Minute.

It only goes 2K 2160 x 1440. but it is way better then waiting 5 Minutes for 720p.

You need to check your desktop scaling percentage.
