Where is the radio station??
Some bloke told me about his red bag in a radio station or something...I forgot what exactly he said and I have no idea where that's supposed to be. Also I had the impression that this game has something to do with programming? All I have achieved in my 2 hours of playtime so far was aimlessly wandering around the city and getting so drunk at a party that I passed out. I have no idea what to do next except for that radio station which I don't know where that is.

I also hate the way your character gets tired and can't run, so when you get tired on the other side of the city you have to sloooooooooooooowly walk your way back to t he ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hotel.

I like the game's atmosphere and I found it quite intriguing at the beginning but now my interest is fading away rapidly and I'm finding the game infuriatingly slow more than anything else. What the hell am I missing? When does the game get going, if ever? -.-

The radio station is in the place just in front to the boat where you land.
Then there is a sign syaing "Radio station" under a tree, it's the buildong on the right to it.

Continue to speak to people, it's a game about friendship (before love and technology ;). And if you find some floppy disk you can read it with some computers spelling 'floppy reader' get them on your hands and open the computer). Later you'll find about programming and stuff (like sleeping or being tired... or not).

K I found the radio station but there is no red bag, instead there is a guy called Roby (Is he the guy who told me to get the red bag in the first place? I have no idea anymore...) who's not really helpful at all. :steambored: Ugh someone just please tell me what to do at this point, I do not give a flying sod about spoilers.

What I "achieved" so far: Got drunk at the party, woke up in Pixie's flat. Witnessed one of the suit guys getting shocked and saw someone run up to them, do something and then they ran to the shoe shop. I think it was at that point where the red bag guy ran up to me. Then I gave a cigarette to the girl who runs the shoe shop and now she won't talk to me anymore.

Spoil the ending if you must, I DO NOT CARE just tell me where the hell I'm supposed to go, I just wanna get to the programming, from what I've read about the game you can do some really cool stuff with it.

The next step in the plot is to go into the room that the sales clerk in the shoe store was guarding and talking to the person that you find there.

Huh, I've been there and I'm pretty sure nobody was there. Guess I'll look again.

There should be someone in the room at the end of the corridor (you'll need to pass through a second door, beyond the one that you use to get into the cellar). The room in question is a small, square room with two doors, a desk (behind which the character you need to speak to should be sitting) and three doors, two unlocked and one locked (including the door that you entered through).

Yea I found it. I got the modifier, passed the tests and did the mission into the factory. I only found one floppy in there, no idea if there was more and I am honestly not even interested.

The game is so slow it's painful and the fact that I could not find any proper guides makes it completely unplayable for me, I hate getting stuck and walking around in circles trying to trigger the next bit of story and this game has just that in spades. I might try to get the unlimited modifier and play around with it but other than that...meh.

Honestly, if you are playing the game just to follow the story, then you'll probably end up disappointed. It's like going to a playground and playing "how to find the quickest exit". If you like that, do it, but the game has much more to offer. If you don't like to play around, to explore, to try stuff out, etc. - the game will probably be not that great for you. For people who like this stuff, the game has very many possibilities.

Oh I don't play the game just to follow the story, the thing is I don't think I can exactly do much without progressing in the story since I only have the lowest level modifier right now...and trying to progress in the story is what frustrates me immensely.

The story never leads you to an unlocked modifier, and I'm pretty certain that it never tells you how to unlock a modifier either -- although the later is based on other posts that indicate people have finished the plot without unlocking a modifier.

So... Yeah, I'd recommend just ignoring the plot altogether and working on the problem of unlocking your modifier, then playing around with that for awhile. You can always come back to the plot later.

Minor spoiler on unlocking a modifier: You'll need two modifiers to achieve this goal -- set one on the ground and use the other modifier to hack it.

Technically, you do not need to continue the story to do pretty much everything (besides the story). There are at least two ways to get the interesting tools modifier without progressing the story at all (besides leaving the ship). Of course, that requires a bit of exploring and playing around. With the story it's much easier (or at least more straight forward), of course.

If you were at the factory already, then you had more than one chance to get everything you'll ever need already. Trust me, triggering story points is one of the lesser interesting thing in the game (I will not say "least", because there's always selling bad soda ;-)).

Just checking, it is not possible to get the bag right? I found it, put it into my inventory, got knocked out and then it was gone.

FunnyBunny (and whomever may come after), yes, after wrestling a bit with this myself, I found the way to obtain the red suitcase and get out with it to Rory. Starting from entering the radio tower for your FIRST ATTEMPT, take the lift up and get accosted by the g-man. He'll ask you if you're Rory, and of course you are! We're all a little Rory every now and again. He'll ask for your broadcasting and computer licenses, tell him you'll go get them. Walk over to the left side of the studio (relative to your back being to the lift), pick up the red briefcase and leave. That's it! Deliver it to Rory and get 100 crisp dollarydoos, and his everlasting thanks.
