If you actually LOOK at GMod.org, it says all the site's content is for GMod 12, not GMod 13, so don't bother trying. They'll break anyway,

oh

It says MOST of its content, not 100% of its content. usually if it has gmod 13 in front of it, it'll work with gmod 13.

With Gmod 13, all addons have to be installed from the steam workshop now, I believe.

you download the file go through into your gmod until you find addons and you put the file that is in the zip file that you downloaded into the addons. If you still cant figure it out then you are a lost cause

1.Download your file from the external site
2. Open steam and go to library once there right click garrys mod and select properties and then click local files and click browse local files
3.Once there follow this to the addons folder garrysmod/addons and place your file from the site into there. ALSO make sure the file has the addons.txt in it which you can find by clicking the addon and it should be inside the folder.
4. Go on the Garrys mods workshop and subscribe to the addon Extended Spawnmenu which will let you see your addons from the external site

Extended Spawnmenu: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104603291

Note: Once ingame go to were your addons folder would be and the new folder should be there with I belive another folder called legacy addons that lets you view your addons and such so click the other one and thats it you did it if it worked and you didint mess up.

Anything to do with lua won't work, but models or maps will work fine.

I must be the biggest noob... I can't install mods still. I've had the game since the summer of 2013, yet the only mods I can install are Steam Workshop mods. Lol

This thread is from 2012... *facepalm*

Oddly enough, this thread was actually posted on my 12th birthday.

I know it was posted in 2012. But what is your point? You found it, too. You commented on it, too. So I am not seeing your point here.

Commented only because some idiot bumped it.

You do realize you posting is also bumping right? Mean it or not. So...
