I've been having fps problems too, but not as low as yours.
We can just hope and assume it's some sort of bug.
Until then, Gmod is pointless to me. I can't shoot any good movies this way. I have tried setting up a scene, dropping all weapons and let it play out... but its just so tedious.
I am really confused and quite frustrated now, and if someone could help that would be great!
I have been lagging like this forever, but i finally fixed it.
The problem is that i have multiple CPU cores, but GMOD can not handle that.
To fix this open task manager while gmod is open, go to details, right click hl2.exe, click Set Affinity and uncheck all boxes except for one.
