Menusystem.ddl contains Trojan?

When I want to update my gmod, Bullguard warns me that MenuSystem.dll is a Trojan. Are there other people arround who get the same?

The menu on the screenshot warns me that Bullguard found a Virus and put it into "quarantine".

bitdefender said it had found a trojan in the same file:

i'm not sure if i should delet the file or not, incase i break gmod.

I dont have the file and Gmod won't start. So I think that if you remove the file, Gmod will break.

that might explain why gmod isint working for me...i think bit defender just deleted it...i got the

um i think my bitdefender deleted some file could it have been that file i just opened bit defender and it said that the file shredding was successfully completed....it wont tell me what file did it delete a garrys mod file?

Like he said only F-Secure and Bitdefender detect it as a virus and they are linux based and garrys mod doesnt really support linux.

so it´s just bitdefender and F-secure that is acting up. do we have to wait for a fix or are we on our own?

just finished redownloading gmod for the 3rd time today and it's working now, i don't know whats changed but its working

I'm still curious how it is possible that a Steam game can contain a virus. Does Gary know that Gmod is infected?

There is no virus in the game. The anti-virus programs F-Secure and BitDefender flag the files as a virus, even though they are not. It is a false positive.
