Though, to do that, you have to know your Steam ID. There are a couple ways to do this, but, I just went into the GMod console and typed in 'status'. It brings up your ID and you can just paste it into the text in place of Garry's to save trouble. Also, don't forget to remove the // before your username, it won't work if you don't. Putting down someone else as an admin is the same process.
Even with all the trouble in doing that, you really only gain the ability to use the admin version of 'Clean Up Everything'. Which IS useful for something like resetting maps when you need to. Really though, you can adjust things more easily if you just go into whatever you use to run your server and type in a code of what you want done.
You just need the Rcon Password (you can either set it in the server.cfg located in the cfg folder on the server by typing "rcon_password "PWHERE" " in a new line or putting "+rcon_password PWHERE" in the Server start parameters.)
Then open your console in Gmod and type in "rcon_password PWHERE". Replace PWHERE with the password you just set.
Then type in "status" and locate yourself. Find out your userID (the left number).
Then type in:
rcon lua_run Player(2):SetUserGroup[[superadmin]]
Replace the 2 with your UserID.
It should be working, you should be superadmin now.
That name.
I'm having trouble understanding: Where do I put "ulx adduser <username> superadmin.
And just to clarify: STEAM username, correct?
*edit* BTW, I've already added the addon to the server. It should be working properly, but I can always investigate further.
it says im not permited to use it and im the host of the sever
