How do I have my friends see my player models without them downloading it?

This is getting extremely annoying. Me and my friend recently picked up gmod again and started playing. I downloaded a ton of costumes and addons and he's just getting started. So we loaded up Hamatchi and Gmod and he joined my game. I change my model to Sonic (for example) and all he sees is ERROR. Once I tell him which one to download, then he sees it. After I change to something like Spyro, he gets another ERROR.

Is there anyway for them to see what I have without having to instruct them on which pack to download, just so they can see my stuff?

Just make your own steam collection pack and stuff all your stuff on there. Then tell him that link to the pack. Let him download it and restart Garry's Mod. Boom, you've solved your problem.

How do I do that? Still kinda new to this whole thing. Also, when I download something new, will he get it automatically?

Same question. I like to download a bunch of new things and don't really want to be having to wait til they download the whole thing just for a game. Is there no way to see them without having to download them? like they don't want to play that model just see mine.
