but in the future if you do get left 4 dead 2 here is a short tutorial on how to do it
once you boot up left 4 dead and your addon has been fully downloaded you can quit out
look for the addons folder in the left4dead2 folder then navigate to workshop
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop
look for the ID of the addon you want which is 2935278086 in this case
you can figure this out by right clicking the page and clicking copy page URL
the ID of your addon will always appear at the very end of the steam link
open the addon using GCFScape a program that can open vpk files
extract the "root" folder and put it in the following folder
Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons
this folder can be renamed and will replace l4d content "rochelle" in this case
Is there a way to reset the folder/files? I did use this method and while it did work, there is a problem with two of my addons [where Coach and Ellis seem to replace the GMod addon for some reason. It also screws up the Playermodel of said addon-].
1.After downloading the Left 4 Dead 2 addon, quit the game.
2.Locate the addons folder in the Left 4 Dead 2 directory, then navigate to workshop:
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop
3,Find the ID of the addon by right-clicking the page and selecting "Copy Page URL." The ID appears at the end of the Steam link (e.g., 2935278086).
4.Use GCFScape to open the addon's VPK file.
5.Extract the "root" folder and place it in the following Garry's Mod directory:
Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons
6.You can rename this folder, and it will replace the corresponding content in Left 4 Dead 2 (e.g., "rochelle").

And I can see the "root" folder that I placed in the "addons" folder in my (legacy) spawnlists. But for some reason, it is just the normal Ellis model, not Ness. Is there anything that I'm doing wrong?
The Crowbar Tool that I'm referring to:

But the real problem would be to apply bones to each part of the body via Blender, as it's a mere model with no bones in it, and I don't have time to do all of that.
Also, while I'm sure that I didn't mess up anything in the process that is normally required to port a model from a Source game to another Source game, but Ness's model is also very saturated in red color upon spawning it in Gmod, which it isn't actually saturated that way in L4D2 (I previously ported some of the default Gmod models to SFM with no issues in the final result AFAIK, but I'm not sure if there are other things that need to be done to port a L4D2 model to Gmod with no issues. And yes, I made sure in Crowbar to set the game model and its other files being from L4D2 and to port them to Gmod).
