It has a different graphical style which I found refreshing, HOGs are all so homogeneous.

I wouldn't be interested if Big Fish put it on Steam, they are lazy and almost never add achievements or cards.

I actually just emailed Artifex Mundi about why this isn't on Steam. I quote the following from their reply:

Unfortunately we don't have the rights to release the game The Secret Order: New Horizon. This game was produced by Sunward Games and released by Big Fish Games.

Since Sunward Games and Artifex Mundi seem to be on good terms (they just released The Secret Order 8 last month), I conclude that it's a rights issue with Big Fish Games.

You'll get by fine without it but for me it is my favorite in the series, it has a different art style, sharper, more gritty, less saturated fantasy colouring. The first game felt more serious than the rest.
