is beast master still good in borderlands 3 and if so how do i go about it early and mid game

Don't have many specific tips, as FL4K isn't really a character I play much.

However, I'd suggest watching the Health machines for Moxxi's Embrace and Mendel's Multivitamin shields. Both of them give you some passive Healing-Over-Time.

They show up in regular vending machines occasionally, and they show up in Crazy Earl's machine fairly often. So ... grab one, and then upgrade as necessary.
