I have played all 4 characters and I found Zane the most challenging by far

Hes a late bloomer, but arguably one of the strongest at endgame. Get the "Seein' Dead" class mod which procs all his kill skills upon doing damage and he becomes WAY more fun.

Use just one skill so you can throw grenades, Digi-Clone is a good one.

You got to really like Zane gameplay to enjoy him and he's a late bloomer like Fam said and powerful endgame but if you don't like his action skills it's not worth playing him even if he is built right.

Moze is the easiest I heard?

My first character is Amara and I like her. Doing mayhem 11 with her now.

Second character is Zane and only level 23.

id say Fl4K. Fade Away trivializes so much content

Zane is known for being the strongest character in the game. Sntl/Digi allows you to just do literally nothing. The only reason flak isn't, is due to his AI and specifically his 4th skill tree which is his strongest pet. The AI is so bad, otherwise it would be on par if not stronger than Zane.

I just started with FLAK for the first game because he looked like the sniper. Looking at all his skills, and abilities, I immediately understood that Fade Away had potential to be ridiculous.

Then the upgrades. First one makes no sense. Says that it doesn't end when the timer ends, -25% Crit damage. That's fine, but then it says 5 less seconds duration, BUT I thought the skill gave it unlimited duration, why is a downside 5 less second duration?

Only played Zane in Normal mode, but he seems fine to me.

Plus, he's got the Irish Accent, and most of his comments are actually funny (to me at least). So, speaking personally, I find Zane hilarious.

Zane is very powerfull, arguably on par with Moze as a contender for best vault hunter in bl3. If you are struggling in early game, I suggest investing in the blue tree first, Zane has very powerfull kill skills and as long as he spams action skills he can keep them always active. There is no reason you should ever die while playing Zane as he has probably the best sustain out of all the vault hunters. I don't necessarilly recommend using barrier but any combinations of his other action skills is fine. In late game you might wanna use Clone + Shoulder Cannon which is the most powerfull combination in my opinion. for skills, as I said first go blue tree, then red tree, and keep pink tree for last.

Assuming you are referring to Guerrillas in the Mist, you misunderstood the description. It tells you that Fade Away no longer ends after 3 shots, not after the timer ends.
The base Fade Away has a longer duration if you don't end it early with the 3rd shot. Guerrillas in the Mist allows you to get as many crit shots as you want during it's duration, so to re-balance it, they reduced the critical damage and made it 5 seconds.

Both have their own uses - base Fade Away is for high burst damage with single shot weapons, while GitM is used with automatic weapons.

This but I prefer to use the SNTNL as my skill... Grenades are far to powerful to not use.

I prefer to play as Zane as he makes a for a solid tank that suits my play style.

And as Nakos pointed out he is the only funny toon in the game. (may have something to do with me being English)

You might just be below avg for skill lol

Just kidding. I have one character of each maxed out with my desired builds. Zane, however, I had the easiest time with. Just being able to spam explosives without dying instantly made him my most played.

I find Amara to be the hardest IMO. Normally love playing the Sirens, but Amara was a miss for me. None of her builds called out like all of the other characters did.

I will say that Zane takes the longest to get going. Only starting to feel strong at level 24 for me. (got a decent class mod for him.)

Oh I see. Thanks. It was a bit confusing, but that makes much more sense.
