I have crashes in Borderlands 3 because of the Shift servers. Post here if you do too.

Since a boycott of Bl4 seems to be a non-starter. Let's just share our experiences that were ruined by the Shift servers.

I play this game with my brother. I have a PS5 and a PS4. I have had this issue on both. My brother always plays on his PS4 Pro. This issue also effects single player.

When trying to load into a game together from the lobby the one of us who is the host will crash and the other player will be booted to the main menu. Sometimes the one who didn't crash will also get a notification that they have been disconnected from Shift. Once you have been notified that you are disconnected from Shift you can play to your hearts content without crashes, but only in single player.

When trying to load into single player the same thing happens. Since your the one that crashes you have one option. You can disconnect your internet. This makes it so you play the game without all the hotfixes that Gearbox neglected to patch into the game.

If you both manage to get into the game together then you can enjoy, for awhile. Eventually your game will crash when Shift falls asleep. There is no recourse for multiplayer. No Shift, No multiplayer.
