Damage not enough

I am level 72 playing at mayhem 10 with mayhem 10 weapons, however compared to my friends those weapons are heavily under powered as they are missing an entire digit in damage in their stats. Does anyone know why this is?

Moze with some of the shield perks can lower her health and make use of
Radiation damage while under 50% health' AKA Urad

All weapons are not created equal, some have very large damage differences.

Shields like the 'Rectifier'? with the annoit on action skill use or end add so much damage its like cheating. * think that is the right name it adds a ton of electric damage and some fire rate.

exactly that, and the right build combines all gear/effects/modifiers/skills to maximise a specific gun and style of attack, so a build revolving around a shotgun will have a whole different set of support gear built around it compared to a build for a sniper rifle (the choice of vault hunter can also drastically affect damage due to the different skill trees)

I am playing as Moze and her robot on mayhem 10 using a rerolled slooter and the needler gun as well as assault weapons, The thing is you need to swap out weapons depending on the enemy, They all have a weakness it is just a case of figuring out what does the most damage to them, Make sure you use mods on the robot that help you like i am using iron cub with an extra assault weapon and he also uses electrocution modifier on his 2ndary this helps me when combined with a grenade mod that does splash damage, Also some weapons will not work with moze due to her skill set. No point using shotguns with a large spread or a pistol with no splash damage. You need to make sure you match the guns to your skill set so you max the damage output, I do 2 million crit damage at minimum and single shot most enemies just aim for the legs or head. The fun part is seeing the effect you have when everything is exploding. I have tons of weapons/relics/class mods,shields and slooters if anyone needs one, I could use some players that just want to farm with me.

I did do a respec and was able to make my Moze viable outside of the iron bear, i'm actually able to kill stuff fairly quickly on mayhem 10. . but even with a fully guns focused build with hardly any skills put into iron bear, iron bear was still 10x stronger than moze herself, so i just said eff it and respecced back into an iron bear build.
I must be doing something wrong, or maybe it's because i haven't maxed out guardian rank or something.

Thats because bear gets mayhem scaling, but moze with bottomless mag, and blue tree capstone can melt anything since most if not all enemies don't have splash damage resistance. Just roll the flipper and never let go of the fire button.

just watched a video that posted like 2 days ago someone running all the top tier most difficult content as flak, using lucian's call assault rifle and just completely destroying all of it and lucian's call was one of the most disappointing guns to me in moze's hands, but then maybe that's because she doesn't have synergy with it(?)
when i spec for it, the kaoson does really impressive damage

Probably due to annoints, any high rate large magazine weapons can shred with the pearl of something knowledge and X damage while action skill is active. Which Moze with cub can now benefit from. Heck she is one of the few with launcher to one tab most raid bosses.

killing a raid boss in 1 shot on mayhem 10 with anyone is beyond my understanding. . don't those things have literally billions of HP?

Hence why moze is so strong, maybe one tab is an exaggeration. But she can kill them really quick without the use of iron bear. Pretty sure it was the yellow cake or plague barrier. I forget which Killer 6 did a contest for it. Most leveraged launchers of some type.

yeah, killer 6 is the guy i've been watching.
in one vid he literally says "there's at least 100 legendaries that work, regardless of your build"

and then i try them and they don't work . . .only to be told "well, then, you must have built wrong. . ."

although, i'll admit, i don't have that pearl yet. I keep working my way through the game leveling up and all my time is being spent doing stuff and i haven't even barely touched the dlc yet. working my way through the jack dlc now.
i don't have much of the dlc items, mostly base game equipments.

example, i have a butcher shotgun which he says is "the BEST" shotgun in the game, equal to or better than pearlescent weapons from previous games and yet it is completely pathetic in my hands and i don't know why

and he says the monarch is the best smg, and i look at the stats it has 8kx3 and i'm like wtf. . .

now, the kickbacker launcher, when i respecced moze into fire damage, i was able to get about 130M with a single charged up shot, but that's still a fraction of a big boss health. still have no idea how you can do a 1,000,000,000 damage with any weapon , any build in this game.

i mean, that's more than enough to kill any regular enemy. my iron bear does 80M with a single railgun shot which 1 shots most regular enemies and 1-2 shots badasses and 4-5 most regular bosses, but then you have the billion hp superbosses

iron bear is also pretty much invulnerable to just about everything. it's like toggling invincibility and i'm fine with that, but i kinda want to be able to just walk around outside as moze and shoot stuff and try the weapons out and nkt have to be spamming the grenade button every 2 seconds while i do it, while still having to worry that i'm gonna be 1 shottted at any moment.
it's not balanced.
