Borderlands 3

Statistiche:
How do you deal with anointed enemies in higher mayhem levels?
So my boyfriend and I bumped our mayhem level to 4 and fought our way through The Anvil. Took us a good hour or two, most of that time was spent fighting anointed enemies. They're practically raid bosses with how much health they've got. It's kind of sad how easy it was to kill Warden compared to the gauntlet of anointed enemies we fought through. I want to reach mayhem 10/11 at some point, but I can barely imagine how much of a pain they're going to get.

Is there something we can do to make them easier to fight? I'll admit our weapons are getting a little underleveled, but my mayhem 4 Roisen's Thorns (banked from a solo run on another character) is still more powerful than any of the purple and blue stuff that's been dropping.

Boyfriend is running Mose, not too sure what the build is beyond them using Forge and Iron Cub. I'm running a speedy Zane with high active skill duration and low cooldown (I have intention on getting Seein' Dead sometime), using both SNTL and barrier.

At MH4 you should start looking into builds cause at that point the damage difference becomes the difference betweem emptying your entire Amoo vs breezing through.
Mayhem sadly just makes enemies bullet-sponges.
For small ones you have to follow and just shoot
For psycho type of melee ones you also have to just shoot but its purple orb can be a problem make sure you move all the time
For shielded ones shot the ground with a splash weapon
And lastly for goliats you just have to jump when his atack comes near you

And they are all weak to fire damage

Thats their weaknesses but still you need a decent weapons to deal with them.

You can easly find a builds from online but playing with what you find is better just keep your time and enjoy the game because after you reach the end game and collect everything you just dont wanna play it anymore.

But i would also suggest you to play with clone instead of barrier its more fun to swap places constantly and you should read the skill three you'll know what im tallking about
a storm rifle and patience. lots of patience also there is ducking around corners to deal with those shield things. they hurt a lot.. there's a certain amount of RNG involved as well. different mobs get different powers when anointed that may be easier or harder for a particular build and playstyle. the only sort of universal one i know of is lootsplosion. mayhem reroll wise I have yet to find a reason to take any other "first" in mayhem than lootsplosion. i also avoid pool party at all costs because I'm a long range sniper type. some players jump around all the time in which case pool party isn't very annoying

mayhem level affects items in shops, activate mayhem 10/11 in sanctuary and buy some better gear
I suggest using a Tier list to distinguish what exactly you want; a video guide on a build specified to exactly what youre looking for would help as well. One of my friends told me that if you have at least one top tier weapon going into your next Mayhem level, you should be good.

I linked you to a pretty good tier list for legendary weapons.
Well i found a really good infinity Zane build on yt. It shreds through everything. https://youtu.be/-iXTx8wBXuY
I've been running this build which looks pretty solid, but it looks like a couple of the skills got nerfed in that they were swapped with the capstones. It's pretty old though, since before the 4th skill tree and having a level 57 cap. Been winging it with the extra levels, mostly to get the Under Cover capstone. It does recommend some of the top tier weapons like the O.P.Q. System and Sand Hawk at least.

I should also mention I have found a temporary solution to the issue mentioned in the OP about the anointed enemies. I didn't know at the time that you could get a weapon like Hail by tipping Moxxi, so I picked it up and rerolled the anoints until it got the 100% bonus cryo damage. Dealing 400k-600k crit damage per hit's been doing me a lot of good, but it's taking some getting used to the bullet arc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3Bi2k8jWsw
