Game is stuttering a lot
So, I've been playing this game quite a lot recently and I've noticed that it stutters quite a lot and I don't know the exact cause. I've read that this game has this issue even on consoles and it was not properly fixed. I have also used the steam launch option NOSTREAMINGMEMORY and it seemed that it worked for a little bit but now the game is stuttering again.
My specs can handle this game quite well, my rig has a Ryzen 5 3600x, 16 gb of RAM at 3200 Mhz and a GTX 970 ( planning to upgrade soon). Also, my game is on a standard 7200 Rpms mechanical hard drive if it's relevant.

I just picked this game up on PC recently because of the sale and notice the same thing.
Im on a 3070 and 11700KF. I also have it on PS5 and Series X and both have stuttering but not as bad as my PC which is kinda a bummer because i wanted to play on PC

Yeah, it is really a bummer, your pc should handle this game without a sweat, but yeah, bad optimization I guess and the sad part is, maybe this would never get fixed, but who knows.

Unfortunately, I can confirm the stuttering even with a i5-12600K and a 3080. The game is poorly optimized. Fortunately, requesting a refund is easy.

Well, I already passed my two hour mark so yeah, but if it stutters even for you on that powerful setup it is better to refund, as you said.

LOL - No. I don't play games that are poorly optimized.

I usually refund games within 15-20 minutes if they don't run smoothly. My time and money is too valuable to waste.

I don't know, when I first bought it, there were no major stutters visible but now, whenever I kill an enemy I also get that annoying stutter.

It normally goes away for me if i restart the game, still pretty terrible gearbox hasn't fixed it.

And it probably won't get fixed.

It's an Unreal Engine 4 game. That command tries to fill you vram texture data, so expect long load times and potential crashes.
The load times were not that long to be honest, and I did not experience a single crash in almost 30 hours of playing the game. Bu yeah, game is stuttering without a reason, even if I'm standing still.
