update is broken

Guys, does anyone else get a notification in the game that the save settings are failing and that they are corrupted?
It happened to me after the update, does anyone know how to solve it?

I'm playing right now, everything works fine so far...

Btw, Gearbox has a track record of releasing game breaking patches, including the patches messing with the saves. Shortly after the release of BL3 there was a bug that deleted ALL the items on the players' characters.

So, backup your saves often, and always do it before launching your game first time after an update.

What the hell!? I was about to go in and try out the new cosmetics, but out of curiosity I wanted to go to the discussion forum first, good thing I did and noticed this discussion, I already made a backup of my savedata, I hope I don't have any problems.

I'm having the same problem. "settings have failed to save". Happens every time the game auto saves. Hopefully the devs patch the fix quick because the game is pretty much unplayable right now.

I got mine working. Found that windows security had disabled Borderlands 3 from writing to the settings folder. Told windows to allow it access and now it's working fine. No more errors, fully able to adjust settings, able to exit game and come back and have saved progress.
