Report a translation problem
Just found out how it works. The flavor text says "Don't look up" so the obvious thing to do is.... to look up right AFTER hitting the enemies.
So when using this weird shield, you're supposed to:
1. Have 0 shields.
2. Hit an enemy once or twice before the comet falls.
3. Look STRAIGHT UP.
4. Hope the enemy doesn't move.
5. Boom, it will deal some damage similar to a free grenade.
Note that it does NOT seem to work when you are K.O. sadly...
Because of all these specific conditions I'm not sure if it's worth using at all though...
I wish they wouldm make it shoot comets after being hit each time at no requirments kinda like that one item from terraria.

In practice, not worth using. There are better options, like the Ward.
