Save data transfer not working

idk if the guides are outdated or if i'm having some other problem entirely but i can't transfer my save data from epic to steam. any advice?

Forget data transfer entirely and just copy your profile with Gibbed save editor.

i actually figured it out last night, im not sure if i misinterpreted the steps but i was under the impression that you had to copy the save files into your borderlands 3 steam save folder in the game installation path, not in the steam BL3 documents folder

I mean, you can mess around manually, but it is not even worth it. Just get gibbed man.
