can you skip dialogue and cutscenes in this game ?

i tried playing it at a friends house and the game was fun but the cutscenes were obnoxiously bad and the forced humor and narratives were cringe

Obnoxiously bad and cringe applies to BL3. Dry (and maybe some cringe) is BL1. Overall BL2 is great with DLC that just adds to that (fight for Sanctuary, the later one to tie into BL3, fell a bit short). BL TPS if viewed as a DLC for BL2 is really good, but standalone felt they missed the mark in a few places (in addition to any cut endgame content). Wouldn't say cringe but it was different with the Australian humor and references (perhaps it would be cringe for those of that region, can't speak to that).

Point is, we each view the games differently. One might view all Bordlerands games at the same level and others might rate certain ones better than others (such as BL3 is an insult to the series for humor, story, lore, and characters even though fun gameplay).

Removing Tyreen's voice completely would drastically make the game better.

nah 2 was on another level, handsome jack puts on an oscar worthy performance. i can only think of a few other games with writing and narration that good. mark hamil in the arkham games, optimus prime in doom 2016 and the guy that narrates ghostrunner 1.

The story actually hurt me emotionally and mentally and (partially) physically because its just bad in many ways, especially if you love BL2. Just install a language that you cannot understand (i suggest Japanese because I would join the calypso twins if Tyreen sound like the JV)
