This game is the easiest video game I've ever played in my life I cant find motivation to continue anymore...
Seriously I dont even remember BL2 or BL1 being this ludicrously easy. Even without legendary weps from the golden chest cheat, I'm still very very easily pummeling through hordes of enemies without much thought.

The game otherwise, is really fun and I do like the small improvement although technical-wise, the game feels abit outdated with the separated maps and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ NPC animations that looks even worse than Bethesda NPCs.

And don't tell me to go play Mayhem or TVH whatever mode. It's absolutely stupid if I have to beat the entire game just to play a harder difficulty when the base game itself SHOULD be challenging to begin with. Like people would even reach there when they cant even tolerate the game as it is?

The game is so boring right now I'm really struggling to finish it even though I'm near the end of the main questline.

The real difficulty has always been the endgame in Borderlands games. BL1 was a little more difficult, but BL2's normal mode really isn't hard, even TVHM isn't that bad. BL2 starts hitting a pretty significant difficulty spike when you reach UVHM because that's when the balancing starts getting all messed up, and that's not even scratching the horrors of the OP levels. BL3 isn't as difficult even at higher levels because it features way better balancing, which makes it feel just right in my opinion.

As the person above said the endgame is where the difficulty lies not sure what you expected. Granted bl3 is easier compared to previous entries.

Last I checked, games either have a difficulty slider or are hard enough to be challenging in the BASE game. What kind of stupid reasoning is "please beat the game first then the problem will be fixed".

This is like saying you should go play a bug-riddled game the whole playthrough, then the bugs will be fixed in new-game plus.

Difficulty and challenge always varies from person to person borderlands never had a slider just a fixed difficulty curve via endgame.

Also never said the problem is fixed, this is how all the games or even most RPGs function.

Not sure how bugs and difficulty would referenced in the same sentence. Want a challenge stick with low level gear idk what else to tell you other then find another game.

Difficulty takes many different forms over many different types of games, there isn't a single universal formula to create challenge in a game.

Base game should have been a challenge for first playthrough. It wasn't. Felt more like you already had Badass levels. And that is not counting the too high drop rate for Legendaries.

That design caters to a newer generation that must have everything handed to them instead of earning it.

To be fair its not like the balance in 1-presquel weren't great.

They kinda killed the farming with this one as most legendaries feel like purples from bl2 with it's gun balance, it wasn't until the last update when they basically did a huge buff across the board so now everything on m11 pretty much dies like a knife through melted butter lol

You definitely should replay BL2. Only BL1 was really hard on the first run because it was their first try at this looter genre. BL2 was pretty easy. The only thing different there was leveling being way slower.
Was playing BL2 this weekend then hopped on BL3 and there is a very clear difficulty difference. BL3 is way too easy unless you play with mods.

Do you want to deal with bullet sponges or not? Cause I'd rather have a cake walk in a mob heavy game where I can feel powerful compared to a slog fest (keep it for endgame, not making me grind up in normal content)

Same would be said in most other loot heavy games with very few exceptions

If they made legendaries a lot more rare it wouldn't have been so easy, it didn't take long for youtubers to post builds that one shots everything, it got too easy, but then they would make it too hard or super spongy like minos prime every enemy has stupid amounts of health that you basically need meta to even get through the second part and even then it's stupid with all the instant death phases.

they turned it into a destiny style raid not borderlands.
