Excessively long boot time? Quality of DLC?
Against my better judgement, I bought the DLC and decided to give the game a second try. Skipping all cutscenes, it's not so bad. But I'm wondering if it takes a long time for the game to actually make it to the main menu for other people? I have neither a great nor bad PC, it's a Zephyrus G14 in this instance. Ryzen 7 5800, 16gb, RTX 3060 6gb, running from a Samsung M2 drive.

When I start the game, it will be on the loading screen with Claptrap going back and forth for quite awhile. I'd say at least 3-4 minutes. I don't have this issue with any other game. I can boot up Ark and be running around in any of the maps before BL3 makes it to the main menu. I can do the same thing in Elden Ring, or any other large game I have installed. Even Mass Effect LE with the secondary launcher takes less time to get in game. Thoughts?

Also, are the DLC even good? It's highly unlikely I'll be able to get into all of them but I'd like to think at least a couple are fun enough to play. I never played all of them in 2 either, only the first one got the full deep dive from me.

EDIT: Mainly wondering if the long launch time is a known issue with one of the DLCs or something, because it didn't used to be like this.

Kinda late to this post but i was looking online because i have the exact same problem, i have it installes on an SSD and it used to take less than a minute to load, maybe 1 top but since i got the dlcs like a week ago it now takes double or triple the time so yeah, it probably is a DLC issue, haven't played any of em except for the handsome jackpot yet but for now i like it better than some partd of the main game

I have every single DLC and mine boots in less than a minute. SSD.

Your problem seems very peculiar. Have you tried switching between DX11 and DX12 API's?
