alot of stuff does on M10, I am using M6 currently it seems to be the best balance for my setup so far
what mayhem level are you playing? the way that 2.0 is setup the higher the mayhem level ya run the better the damage version of the gun drop
I wen't from Mayhem 1 to Mayhem 6 and finding better versions of all the weapons I like
the lob actually will scale well too for the endgame, I'm using an ice element one against anoited enemies or when I need to splash damage everything with FL4K on Mayhem 10.
Actually Lob is very strong for bosses, it is just superceded by the most OP options available since MH 2.0 update and Cartel event weapons like Yellow Cake for example.
Still whith the shotgun ammo pool available, Lob is a murdering machine that can let you kill anything in seconds, it is also a great option for second wind.
Currently I'm running crit build with an OPQ / Monarch (fire - electro - cold - none depending on the situation) / Yellowcake / cold Lob setup, with sometimes swapping the Yellowcake or the Lob against a Krakatoa or a Hellshock.
The Monarch is the powerhouse, but usually it requires to go up close (but shreds Killavolt in two-three mags on Mayhem10). The OPQ is against shields as it works even on immune enemies and for sniping. The Yellowcake and the Blob are to kill anointed maniacs where area-of-effect is critical, or just simply to make room in the crowd. Krakatoa and Hellshock are niche weapons, where hit-and-run tactics are needed, preferably from a distance. Read, 3 anoited maniacs doing a group meeting at Lectra city with the Tenderizer and Fish Slap
I also use the Lob to conserve ammo, it can be an issue when running OPQ.
