- Anointments were a good idea on paper but a stupidly tedious grind even with the machine in Sanctuary.
- Way too much phucking dialogue. Just shtfu and let me play.
- Game drops legendaries way too often destroying the rush you'd get from BL2 or previous games.
- Map is an embarrassing joke. Horrible in areas with multiple levels like the mansion in Revenge of the Cartel.
- Antagonists are a joke.
- Things happen in the story that don't even make sense. If you play as a Siren the twins are never after your powers because reasons?
Objective improvements exist like fast travel, visuals and drop levels different for each player. The good doesn't outshine the bad though.
And Sirens, supposedly the rarest beings in the universe, are interacting with you and each other frequently and at the same time. The best part? There's like 6 or 7 of them in the game.
To make it interesting again, you could try doing challenge runs. I particularly enjoy allegiance runs. Pick a manufacturer or weapon type and stick to it. You might end up using items and builds that you never considered before.
I truly hope Borderlands 4 is a return to form because if they churn out another entry into this amazing franchise like Borderlands 3, it will never recover.
They are supposed to be LEGENDARY - not common trash.
Yeah that was really a strange remark - killing only people of a certain perceived race is ... well quite racist.
