Directors cut installed but not working in game

I have all the DLC's checked. I unchecked them all then checked them back again still saying I don't have directors cut

What do you mean it says you dont have it? Do you you have the vaultcard?

Did you get everything through Steam or are you trying to mix with Epic?
Verify game files?
Full reinstall?

all from steam and did a full reinstall also did verify files i can start AVA missions but not start arms race tells me i dont have the directors cut

Arms race is in Designer's Cut.
Ava missions are in Director's Cut.

Do you own Designer's Cut? Is it installed? From your library right click on BL3 -> Properties -> DLC -> check Borderlands 3: Designer's Cut.

If you don't own Designer's Cut, either buy the Ultimate Edition (everything in BL3 - currently 89% off) or Pandora's Box (entire franchise - currently 79% off but has been 92% off during sales events). At the moment the Ultimate Edition is the better deal, but Pandora's Box is the way to go when it's on a deep discount. Either way you will only pay for parts that you don't already have.

That is why i asked if you have the vault-card: That comes from the directors-cut (and apparantly it works fine for you).
The naming of those DLCs really is bad.

the same thing happend to me when i bought and downloaded it ,it still says that this item is not installed can somebody please help me out

There is DESIGNER'S CUT and DIRECTOR'S CUT.

Make sure which one you have as apparently the names are too similar for some Steam users.

sorry i figure it out for some reason i paid for directors cut twice and did not have Designer's Cut.
