Level Cap

Since they've released all 4 DLC's, is it safe to say that lvl 65 will be the highest level cap from this point on?

In MY opinion, it's getting to the point where levels caps are nothing but a huge frustration, because it sure ruined it for me. Goona spend hours grinding loot to match the perfect build, just to have a level cap increase, causing all of that hard earned loot completely useless. Then causing us to refarm everything again because of a small level cap increase. I really hope this is the end of level cap increases.

Nothing new, its been this way since BL1 -- only solution is wait for GotY Edition, then play.

nah it won't be the max cap, cause Borderlands 2 came out with more content after the season pass, more then likely something will be released simalar to digistruct peak that Borderlands 2 had

the last DLC of BL3 seems like alot of recycled content though, probably cause of Covid19 delaying stuff

They have said it's likely the last level increase.. but likely doesn't mean definitely.

Well, that's your decision to torture yourself. I am not doing this.
WIll complete 4th DLC, run few plays with friends, then move on to other games.
Grinding weapons again and again, after each new level cap? Pfff

its worth it because it gets you prepared for each new content that is added, The best previous max level cap gear can and will keep up with the enemies of the new cap that is unlocked with each content

I heard it's the last in the foreseeable future, but not in general. Tomorrow is some kind of event, maybe they'll tell more about their plans with bl3

How is 5 levels going to make your loot obsolete? If you re-farm weapons for 5 levels, its because you want to, not because you need to. M10 dmg at 60 isnt going to be significantly less than at 65.

It's a 40% difference in damage. It's not supposed to be negligeable nor worse looking over.

But yeah, with how frequent and small the level increases were, it was less "level increment for new challenges and content" than "goalpost moving."

I think they should let use use eredium to increase stats or re-roll anoints.

I still was doing considerable damage with Sandhawk lvl57 to enemies 65lvl.
I levelled myself first to 65 by killing Graveward (3times per level), only took about roughly 15mins.
Then started 4th DLC. To my surprise, the sandhawk still was usable while I was waiting for the Iron Bear to recharge. ¯_(ツ)_¯

If you're sick of level cap increases, may I recommend Warframe? Progression in that game is primarily horizontal; the standard level cap of 30 has stuck around since the launch in 2013.

It just seems like such a pointless thing to nitpick over; you're basically complaining about new content because it makes stuff you already have obsolete, which is the way of things in basically every MMO ever.

Not really what OP is getting at, its the fact that you'd need to refarm certain items as they aren't the same level as your character. Warfram and other games have means to level items not in borderlands.

apart from that if you don't plan on spending real cash on Warframe get ready for a real grindy game.
it's kinda funny how skewed some people look at one game while bashing another.
this restart of the loot-mill is kinda normal for the genre, looters in general. people who don't like grinding probably should consider what genre they are playing. the good thing is you can enjoy every BL game without spending decades to get the best min/max rolls.
We could go back to old Diablo 2 forums or the start of some mmo-addons, it's basicaly the same topics as pop up everytime GB raises the max-level. history-repeating.
