Crash entering Devil's Razor

I cannot enter Devil's Razor without a crash. I got a friend to progress me through Chapter 17, but you have to turn in the main quest of Chapter 18 in Devil's Razor, so I get stuck on Chapter 18, because I can't be present when the quest is turned in. I have tried every way to enter that area, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have a solution to either progress me to Chapter 19 or make it so that Devil's Razor does not crash my game?

Nope! I just joined someone else's game and never got the progress for it.

How big is your paging file for windows?
Verify your game files, and visit sysdm.cpl - advanced- Performance- advanced again - paging file - MUST NOT be windows managed- 4GB minimum, and 10GB Max should do well for you,

I made the changes you suggested, no change in behavior. Still crashes any time I try to go to Devil's Razor

what are your settings? DX11 or 12? What GPU

i read up online this is an on going issue after checking other forums and such..seems im not the only one with this issue

change it and load in again

ive tried that..whole freaking list..verify uninstall reset graphics to defaults..not a thing has worked

doesn't sound like you changed DirectX;
I fixed a save game of RDR2 by changing away from vulkan, to DX12, So this can help.

I even streamed this section, weird that it doesn't work for you. Are you using a laptop?

disable revenge of the cartels before starting the game..then it will let you enter devil razor

well.. okay,, good to hear, it worked on my end, first time entering there with cartels on;
enjoy the rest of the game. still lots of adventure ahead;

now thats a place where a crash is suppose to happen because of the wall ya had to bust down "sorry had to say it" :P lol
