What is "True Takedown Mode"?

Apart from a bit more enemies I haven't noticed much

Not sure. Probably buffs up the HP and damage of the bosses on top of the increase in enemies. I can't even solo either one in normal mode. I can't get past the platform jumping on one of them, and the other the boss goes into a mode where I have to jump real high on steam and shoot down at him and my hands shake too bad to get any shots off. Damn familial essential tremor. Oh well.

If you have friends that play you should try the True Takedown Mode with them.

True Takedown is just scaled for 4 people, so there are more mobs and they have more HP.

Not end rewards, but more loot due to more badass drop chances.

Honestly rough for guardian takedown, but for maliwan its worth a shot with a group :D

Too bad it has no better/additional rewards.
I was farming guardian takedown for a Stinger shield because my friend didn't wanted to play with me until I change my build (Amarageddon 3.0). I don't blame him tho. The fact that I soloed M10 True Guardian Takedown with ease on 1st try just screams of broken build.
For the same reason that is why I didn't notice anything else apart from more enemies.

You can stay in the middle part, just lure the boss near one corner and let him be there when he switches to invulnerability phase. That way the corner in the opposite side will not be covered in his blast.
Btw, I still need the Stinger shield. Add me if you wanna farm Guardian Takedown
