where did marcus install genIVIV?
My best guess is as Rose's buttplug (DLC 3) but I probably missed something.

I think he installed it in the gun the game gives you as reward for that main quest

Maybe they wrote some story or side quest but they dropped it in production of the game or they saving it for later.

It was a bit of payoff I was hoping for what Marcus did too.

Marcus turned her into the legendary shield "Messy Breakup". The only talking and very murderous shield in the game that has a battle drone. This drone is GenIVIV out of bounds.

I personally don't find her babbling, her own voicelines in the quiet periods or some special ones that only come in fierce fights not boring until today.
