Hearing OTHER characters talking when playing coop is so stupid

Why can't I hear only MY character talking while everyone else hears theirs as well, the random characters talking is really stupid and annoying to deal with.

Pretty sure it is the character that interacts with the person that speaks. Have heard mostly my buddy's character instead of mine, because he's party lead.

Nope doesn't matter at all, my friend who is host who is behind me was doing all the interacting yet we're hearing the other persons character with us.

Maybe just some characters has responses in some situations, or its pure rng which character that does the talking.

It's not rng. If it is rng, it's really bad rng. My friend's lame ass character is talking all the time while I'm a mute, regardless on who interacts first or not.

Makes coop with friends stupid since you would want to hear your characters interactions as with other players hearing theirs.
