PSA: TVHM does not reset specials rewards from objectives

This was something that a lot of people didn't know at release and were angry about after they had already played characters substantially, so I thought I would mention it here.

When you start over in TVHM, special objectives you completed on maps do not reset. Such as Typon's Logs and cache rewards, or special animal hunts, etc.

So you only get one shot at these rewards per character, in it's lifetime.

Therefore some players may wish to avoid these rewards until they are max level in TVHM to get the best rewards.

I know, there are mixed opinions on it. But some people choose to wait till later.

The only thing to be concerned about reward wise are the Typhon chests you get after finding the logs in a paticular region. Simply dont open them, or if you do at least know its a once a character thing.

Also the rewards arent usually that good, running on mayhem 2 oemr 3 usually will get you better loot.

Either way all the other map special quests dont give loot rewards.

What I was thinking of was the final reward from Zer0 for doing all his hunts, you get a Lyuda. Some suggested not completing all his hunts until you were max level to get it as a level 50. Or 53 now.

As others said, the rewards aren't usually that good. Just know that the rewards scale to your level. And once you kill a legendary hunt, the animal will still appear on the maps, but that reward from Hammerlock or Zer0 scales to your level and is a one time only thing. You don't get to do them again in TVHM. It stays greyed out as completed.

That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid lol. Hopefully modders will fix that. Maybe they can be reset via save editing?

max raising again soon, new dlc mar 26 and mayhem 2.0 in april.

i'd expect mayhem 2.0 to come with a level cap increase
