Game stutters a lot
Hello. Just started playing BL3 and i have exactly the recommended specs, but i have trouble running it at stable 60 FPS. Is the pc port not that great or my pc isn't?

Technically this is a port because it was ported over from EGS with no changes made.

This is by far the most stupid thing I've ever heard....I'm not even going to argue and give you knowledge on what exactly a " port " is.....we need stupid people in this universe lol...diversity.

Anyways if you're facing stuttering there are few POSSIBLE fixes, there's no guarantee...
Because game does run smoothly most the time for me, but it still stutters sometimes since it's an open world there's ALMOST no loading...so I guess when I explore further into the world it need to render it causes stutters.

1) Try turning ON / OFF Vsync
2) Try turning OFF FOG
3) Block all Internet Connections for BL3 ( some site claimed that this work )
4) Try lowering Texture Streaming ( again some site claimed that this work )

Lastly, you could try dialing in your own graphic settings maybe it would be better.
But first of all, set Overall Settings to Very Low ( and again...some site claimed that this have an effect ) then individually set all the graphic settings.

The port is really bad on a case by case basis sometimes people with awful hardware are fine and other times people like me with a 2700x and RTX 2070 Super have stuttering and lag with no fix in site.

try to reduce resolution to full hd, on gpu settings ingame: last 2 options on medium, try it with vertical sync maybe it´s better, try with dx11

a port is where you park boats.

Runs fine
Install it on a ssd that' can handle texture streaming and it won't be an issue

You're thinking of a dock.

Port is a type of fortified wine.

Defrag your HDD where you installed the game or install it on SSD

Imagine thinking this is a port

try playing it 720p
Are you running borderless window, or fullscreen? Got studdering on my desktop with an i9-9900K, 64GB of ram, and 2080TI all liquid cooled, and my laptop which is a 12 thread 9th gen i7, 32GB of ram, and RTX 2070 until I set it to run fullscreen on both. Runs great on both machines. I did notice this game pegs my storage a lot, I've installed to an nvme on both machines, not sure if that makes a difference either. Also make sure you are on the newest GPU drivers. Good luck!

It's running perfect for me. Haven't dropped below 60 fps even once. Even when there's a crapload of stuff exploding and firing
