Stuck on Claptrap dancing (not responding)

So before you say it, yes I'm running Dx11 (have been this entire time since install)
I haven't been able to get past the Claptrap dancing loading screen

All my drivers are up to date and I am running just over minimum suggested specs

I've tried starting it from the .exe,

I've tried going to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Borderlands 3\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us and installing that stuff.

I've tried everything I can find on the internet and nothing helps.
Please help I just wanna play Borderlands 3

edit: And task manager says it is not responding the moment the Claptrap dancing sequence starts

did you restart steam? I assume so since you did the redist stuff.

Look online for options to disable DX12 in the config file. Here was an old example i found that might help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHIn01LvHqs&list=WL&index=59&t=0s

Thanks but my problem doesn't seem to be with Dx12 as I am and always have been using Dx11. That being said I tried setting every setting in that config file to low like he says in the video and still no change

Hey All, had the same Prob, what FIXED it for me was removing the brackets "{-}" in my clan tag and it loaded right up! So, you might have to change ur name as it does not support the characters that ur current tag might have,

Same here, i do everything i could and Claptrap still dancing I think we must wait to fix from gearbox

I'm having the same problem. Tried moving it to an ssd, verifying, uninstalling and reinstalling, everything I could think of. It started off in DX11 for me too.

Mine is on a brand new SSD, I just hope they recognize that it isn't just Dx12 optimization that's the problem
Guess I just have to sit and pray they roll out a patch

yeah this bug first time seen 6 month ago and they do nothing for it but you can still sit and w8 ,spoiler gearbox can do nothing with it or maybe just maybe they don't give a shiт about it .
