This game was launch broken on Epic, they have not fixed, and yet somehow all new Steam users though that their version will be magically perfect.
Return the game and wait to buy it when it´s actually fixed, just a friendly advice.
It's made by a AAA company. It won't be fixed or at least won't be fixed until they are done pumping out all the DLC. Look at Fallout 4 or even Skyrim (yes completely different company). Those games are still broken without player made fixes.
Don´t want to turn this into an argument, but, do you know anything about programming?
Bethesda games have way more scripting than any shooter will ever have. The comparation is pointless since the only thing they have in common is that both are videogames.
EDIT: Also, I can activate the console command and fix most issues on Bethesda games. And while you can get one save corrupted it´s more of a rare thing and the game autosaves a thousand times precisely to help you deal with those issues.
(Thats a joke im an adult please fix this).
