100% GPU usage and 80+ degrees on cores wtf

Is anyone have this issue? Only in this game i have such high gpu usage and this insane core temp.

i7-9700
2080Ti
32GB ram

Seems like the newer cards are having more trouble with it. Other than some crashing my 1080 Ti isn't going bad sh*t crazy.

Other "heavy" games running fine, like around 50 degrees on CPU, but this 80+ at this game is pretty crazy =\

I'm running a duplicate system and no issues with heat, and that's with a 4k display.

Usually the U4 engine is pretty good with high specs.

its a demanding game for sure, my Ryzen 5 2600x, 16GB ram and GTX 1070 makes a nice heater when playing LOL, while its 37 F outside at the moment

Try to run the game on dx 11 mode instead of dx 12, to take more advantage of your very powerful gpu. (dx 12 only currently has an advantage in this game at insane high frame rates where you become cpu locked).

Maybe set vulumetric fog effect to medium and screen space reflections to high.

My laptop ( current i7 with 2070 max p) can run the game at 70-90fps on silent mode with everything ultra except those 2 settings. If your PC is not beating this than there must be an issue with your hardware or drivers.

On my PC, DX12 gives more FPS but is less stable meaning crashes, DX11 drops my FPS a little and stutters sometimes in certain areas in the game but is 100% stable, zero crashes.

My PC Specs:
i7 8700K (Stock Speeds)
32 GB DDR4 3200MHz
GTX 1080 Ti (Driver 442.59)
Samsung 970 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1TB

I would pull the cooler and reapply paste. Or upgrade to an AIO if you don’t have one.

This. Game runs absolutely fine on my rig. Temps are under 50c and i always have 140+fps ingame..
