Stuck on "Impending storm" quest

So I talked to lilith, maya gets into the cast, talks to us, invites us over to Athenas and I am stuck on "contact maya" and cannot progress any further. Anyone had this issue?

Same thing happened to me, I'm stuck. And yes, I know you can "join a game to advance", but I don't have any friends playing the game.

same issue, no solution, and multiplayer is still not working on linux for me

bump - MAJOR bug. Enemy "spawns" inside a wall EVERY TIME, preventing "clear courtyard" for game progression.

bump, stuck on 'contact maya' (yes on linux, had to export game from stadia to get past the first boss media bug...)

Same here. I can join online games and progress past this point (I've finished that Moon mission multiple times) but then when I continue on my own it always starts back up at Contact Maya.

So annoying! Isn't this a AAA game that's been out for a year? Seems like a bug an indie pre-launch beta would have.

If anyone has a solution please share. I don't want to restart a character and play another 14.2 hours again just due to this bug.

After encountering this issue myself. I fund a post on Gearbox forums where the user Propheticus had fund the solution to the problem. You need to install the Media Feature Pack app and that worked for me and I hope it will work for you guys.

Here is that users post: "Fixed it by installing the Windows media feature pack.
I had it installed before, but after the big windows 10 May 2020 update (version 2004) it apparently needs re-installing. Figured it out because I noticed no video was showing from the ceiling projector and I only heard the audio. Going to the video folder and playing “VidScreen_CallToMaya.mp4” worked, but my videoplayer complained it could not load EVR (custom presenter). This put me on the right track.

So for anyone using a Windows 10 N version (without media player features) with this issue. Do the following:
From the windows notifications bar open “all settings”, then “apps” now click “Optional features”. Select “+ Add a feature” and search/look for “Media Feature Pack”. Install it and reboot. Success!"

I'm having the same exact issue. Am I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as a Mac user?
