Steam Cloud save?

So i got a laptop and a desktop, move between the two of them.

Game properties on both have the check mark on enable steam cloud save for BL3, and am logging into the same account on both laptop/desktop. Do NOT see the same characters i've created on the other.

I take it this game doesnt have true steam cloud save?

Same here. I copied the save game file from Documents\My games\Borderlands 3\Saved\SaveGames from my desktop to my laptop and it's working now.

You shouldn't ever rely on steam cloud, its known for corrupting gamesave data

I sync'd my saves to Google Drive (after making a backup save).

That isn't an answer. The reason we want games saved on the cloud so we can play them on multiple devices without having to copy and paste all our progress into the cloud manually. Cloud saves make it much easier.

What is this dumbass comment about "known for corrupting gamesave data?" I save everything to steam cloud...never had a single save game get corrupted...ever. About to have a 16 year badge in a month too...

Yes I have this issue too. ONLY in Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3. WHY? Surely it is the developer?
