Please fix 5120x1440 (32:9) event screen & map
The game runs good in 5120x1440 but in the TAB menu and the event screen
all information is zoomed in so that i can't select any skill tree.

The only way is to set the resolution to 2560x1440 and the the event screen is not zoomed in.

Please fix this asap - thanks! :)

Edit: the map is too big too or zoomed in..

You'd think they had enough time to fix such obvious flaws, right? The game was released 6 months ago.

5120x1440 is luxury that does not require a game force I find it sufficient 1080p or normal 1440p

I'm not going over 1080p anyway so I don't need 32:9

Ugh. 21:9 suffers the same fate, I suppose.

Yep, same on 21:9.... just not quite as bad. :steamfacepalm:

Well, thats crap. I dont remember if the earlier games were like that. Maybe someone will come up with a fix. Check UWSGF?

That's like saying that we should all still be using CRT monitors at 400x300 resolutions or something. :steamfacepalm:

wtf is wrong with 16:9? just run 3 16:9 monitors if you want, but game on one of them.

You'll just have to try a wider screen sometime, and see for yourself. :-)

Don't need one, I still play in 1080p with my TITAN RTX thank you very much. bigger screens aren't meaningful at all to a gaming experience, and developers develop for 16:9.

We'll probably just have to suck it up and deal with it... if GBX hasn't done anything about it in 6 months???? I doubt it ever will.

A good reason to not buy a license though.

So, you're a tech early adopter who purchased a top-of-the-line RTX product, a tech that only has a couple handful of supported games, but you tell other people that their advanced tech preferences aren't good ones? Hmmm...

I always buy the latest TITAN GPU for gaming.

It matters not that RTX isn't perfected yet; and TITAN RTX can run games in 8k with its VRAM at 30 FPS though, even with ray tracing so it all works fine.
.

That said....
16:9 resolution is standard for gaming. use regular 4k or regular 2k, or regular 1080p.

Back on topic-ish:

One solution for problems with wider video screens was solved back in September for those who don't already know. To stop cutscenes from cutting off on the sides improperly, do this:

"turn off “FidelityFX Sharpening” on the Advanced Visual Settings"
