Unable to spawn vehicle

After playing with a friend and started my own game I can't spawn a vehicle anymore. When I go to a Get a Ride station the option to spawn a vehicle is not showing up (Q - spawn vehicle).
I already try going to menus, restart the game and still not showing up.

You need to do a quest for Ellie so possibly friend had it unlocked and you don't?

I already completed the quest for Elie and I was able to spawn my vehicle in my own game several times. I joined my friend's game and he also completed it as well so we were spawning our own vehicles in his game. Then for some reason after I left and created my own game the option to spawn vehicles are doesn't show up as an option. Only the "E use" option shows up where I can customize my vehicle.

For some reason opening the menu causes the spawn option to disappear outside of the menu. Just spawn the vehicle from inside the menu. Afterwards the option to spawn outside of the menu should return as long as you don't open the menu again. I don't know if it's intentional or a bug, but that's just how it is.
