Not sure how else they could do it though, since games don't typically just time out like some apps will and log you out.
i mean seariously, just go into offline mode and play all you want, i usually do it like that, saves me a lot of trouble, except for forced online games and those usually get refunded right away anyways since i won't buy crap i can't play while offline (well, aside from mmo's of course)
seriously, i thought it would be common sense by now, i mean since most games are tailored around getting you hooked for over 2 hours in a tutorial just to reveal an ugly/repetitive/subpar gameplay afterwards once you've beyond the point of getting it refunded
