Can't go online?
It says that in order to go online, I must login to my shift account, and going on my shift account requires me to be online, which can only happen if I'm logged in to my shift account, and so on...

Why is that?

Note: I opted for DISABLE for cross play, and it asked for a username for shift purposes.

same here, my friend tried vpn and got access to open to public and online overall
we are from iran, it's not a regional ban right ?

UPDATE: I can sort of bypass this by opening the map, and see "friends nearby" (which is weird, considering I'm "not online"), and join their game.

If they try the same, they can't join mine, only invite me (and the invite would fail).

This is so bizzare.

I got mine to work by unlinking from steam on the SHiFT website, then relinking it again

Go here: https://shift.gearboxsoftware.com/ - login with your steam. Start the game - set your shift-online-name & there you go. see ya

been trying 100x, everything is messed up about it atm. Can't sign up or log in with steam and I should not need to.
