Only you can answer this question, is it worth buying again? Did you enjoy playing the game before? Do you really need it on both EGS and Steam?

If you have either standard version on EGS then I would buy the SD on steam TBH.

Epic / Gearbox heavily pushed the FOMO agenda. You could argue that you were unfairly manipulated, just as you would be by a drug dealer, in to spending money early within the anti-consumer Epic store. If you are still a juvenile then this becomes more serious e.g. loot boxes and their effects on children. Maybe you are due a refund from Epic. I don't know how big the group that will disable it are, it could be a small minority. I would never buy a game twice on the same platform it is a waste.
