All main characters in borderlands 3 are women

Lillith, Maya, Ava and Tannis. So where is the gender equality for men? I mean if you play as zane you not part of the main group because your character has no development or screentime in cutscenes. I hope borderlands 4 has both men and women in it as important characters.

id bet BL3 started very good, in a good spirit as a much desired sequel to BL2, and probably half way through development a dirty rotten finger of activists touched the script and tipped the scales to push certain ideology. My basis to this hypothesis is that if you cut every single dialogue and just focus on gameplay alone it become clear where this change took effect, activists dont care on how you play a game only what message the game sends.

theres no need to have more sirens, BL2 already had a great storyline with them and it ended with a promise that the next big thing would be exploration on other planets, we ended up with 4 planets and less locations overhaul.

What message is that? Brats like Ava should have powers and lead sanctuary despite not growing or earning any of it.

I agree, I don't see any rhinoceros among the main protagonists, no development in the main lore of a character that is an ant or else, where is the alligator protagonist winning the fight against the final villain who is a vulture? prejudice against non-famous animals

it might have been interesting if the "beastmaster" identified as "trans-species", like if they identified as whatever species the animal companion is, like not as "an honorary member of the pack", but literally self identifies as that animal.

there used to be a man who self identified as a cat, i think he's dead now. he tatooed his entire body to look like cat fur and even went as far as to get dental work to make hismteeth look like cat teeth.

as for tyreen's brother being male or female, i was joking but sort of not, because there are real people out there who look male and identify male but true some quirk of nature are actually genetically female and if the brother was conjoined to the sister, they could share the same genetic code and troy just never realized he could also do the same thing his sister could before

It actually makes sense for Fl4k to use they/them pronouns. They're a robot, so they don't have human gender, and no sapient being wants to be called 'it'.

i identify as a gamer. . .and a metalhead. .and i like cartoons. but mostly a gamer. gender is irrelevant to me, but i will always pick the female playable characters first if given a choice. I choose whatever avatar i can find that other people aren't using. my current avatar is literally, the only female avatar in the steam points store that doesn't come from a porn game. . .so that annoys me. there aren't enough "female" avatars in the points shop that aren't anime furry porn. .
also it annoys me that someone else who plays this game took the "SHIFT" profile name "icedfate" and they also took the other username i like to use of which i have never seen anyone take that other username before and no, i'm not gonna say what it is.
if i'm triggered over anything, it would be that. .
i sorta wonder if i oughta change it anyway, because "icedfate" a portmanteau of 2 of my favorite metal bands, but one of the bands. . their lead guy has political views i don't agree with. .

look, i understand the irony and hypocrisy of this coming from me... but why are you complaining about lack of female avatars (in the points store) that match your tastes? thousands of people use those point store avatars, the pfp is the image you can choose to represent you or what you like, why not make your own, and there are literally billions of images on the net that you could use, why choose something that so many others are using, don't you want to be unique?

is it because you want one that moves? does everything have to move? in addition to the pfp, the background, avatar frame, animated emoticons in the item display, there are 4 places on your profile where you can have animated images, do you really need all 4 to move?

edit: again, i understand the irony since i'm using the default pfp and the most generic profile name possible, but this isn't my main account, this is my throw away account where i allow myself to be honest on forums at the cost of getting banned on a semi-regular basis (i can't do that on my main account because it'll lower my trust factor in csgo)
