All main characters in borderlands 3 are women

Lillith, Maya, Ava and Tannis. So where is the gender equality for men? I mean if you play as zane you not part of the main group because your character has no development or screentime in cutscenes. I hope borderlands 4 has both men and women in it as important characters.

Because in reality guns can do way more catastrophic damage, nor did I ever refer to using a weapon when referring to strength. Unless its referring to melee specific weapons, Not sure what you are referring to, there's media with average dude casting spells or powerful women casters being seen as witches.

Rhys and Vaughn are side characters and they're complete incompetent clowns compared to TftB's original Rhys and Vaughn
Mordecai and Brick have 10 min of screentime combined

You miss the point that Vaughn and Rhys are complex and smart characters. BL3 just takes one joke from Tales and makes it Vaughns entire personality for some reason. With Rhys ending up being the person he claimed he'd never be. Also Torgue in original lore was never a CEO just a figure head something the writers forgot about. Also what does one's sexual preference have to do with their character or whether they can lead a company?

Just look at how they butchered most characters. Try to describe for example Tina or Hammerlock in BL3 and then look at what they were originally.

Just look at how they butchered most characters. Try to describe for example Tina or Hammerlock in BL3 and then look at what they were originally.

To be fair Tina isn't given much to work with just like other legacy characters, They just keep her default schizo bomber persona. Plus Hammerlock was always into men, they just didn't make that the focus of his character, So him being with wainright isn't against who he is. They did change Aurelias character to fit the plot though.

he was 2 dimensional in bl2 (and as bankai said, he was already established in BL2 as being gay), but in BL3, they gave him more depth, more emotion, more vulnerability and passion, and it worked, hammerlock was one of the few characters they did a decent job with in bl3

it actually makes 100% sense in BL because they're sirens, they're not just mortals with big mouths

why is it such a turn off? i just don't get it

i do have a theory though, i suspect that guys might have an issue with sirens because their powers were gifted to them arbitrarily, in many cases by pure chance, the powers weren't earned, and the fact that the universe, or whatever force controls the powers always chooses females, is that it? the unfairness of that?
