EDIT: if that's the case, then it's misleading for potential buyers, they should have the updated info on the store page, otherwise people might buy a game and not have enough space to even install it
Game info page may not be updated every time a new DLC or update is released.
Rule of thumb : Always keep 50+ GB free over and on top of any installed games as updates tend to be huge these days.
e.g., Witcher3 latest update is 52GB, lol.
e.g., Tiny Tina's Assault on DragonKeep was a DLC for BL2, but it was so freakin' good fun, that its popularity has caused the game devs to spawn a whole new game on such Tiny Tina's magical make-things-go-kaboom gimmicks.

the required space on the store page doesn't take into account all of the updates since release
it's probably like that for all games on steam
