Game too easy?

Is anyone else finding that they die more often from killing themselves, than from actual enemies lol? I mean... I have a gun right now that any time I shoot, a kind of lightning consecration ground spawns, also any time I kill an enemy with it, they explode. But since im playing Moze, the explosion sometimes is much much larger, and I die instantly.

But the actual enemies die in just a couple shots. Ive played through the entire borderlands series, never going above the base difficulty, and borderlands 3 just seems far easier than the ones before it.

BL3 has 2 hard modes: TVHM and Mayhem. You can enable them after completing main story in Normal. If you like playing in hell, try both TVHM and Mayhem 10!

Neither of which change the difficulty.

if you find the game too easy, avoid moze, she is just broken out hell, and easiest VH of the series, you need no gear, even skill point are pointless, she can melt everything with ironbear and mayem scaling work extremly well with her
the other caracter are good, but moze is really for 20 IQ playtrough, salvador is a hard class in comparison

i read "20 IQ" as "20 INT", as in 20 on your Intelligence stat, as in in D&D and was like "why does one need to be so smart?", then i went back and read it again. . .

in D&D salvador should have 1/20 INT, Zero 20/20 and moze -20/20 lmao
also i dont want to trigger some moze main, i like zerking too, its just a lot more forgiving than krieg bloodbath for example

why would that "trigger" a Moze main by telling them she's the smartest character?
i'm using her now, mainly because i always picked the siren in previous games and want to try someone different

I think as long as we are having fun. It doesn't matter which character we are using. I'm using Siren. I was using the deploy turret guy in BL2 but my friend liked Maya in BL2, so now I pick Amaya.

people are saying that moze iron bear is so OP it's broken. i dunno. it's slow, can't dodge a single bullet . .soaks up bullets like a sponge but still can't dodge for spit.
also, it has a reduced vision radius and the enemies exploit my blind spots.

unless i'm "supposed" to go for a certain build in a certain skill tree, i dunno.
I am doing the orange colored tree wit the passive shield buffs and gun buffs.

The game or series is rarely about dodging attacks but doing as much damage as possible. With iron bear that's an extra health bar to soak up damage. Plus it's weapons get mayhem scaling. As for Orange its got decent skills most go for infinite mag/splash damage moze.

It is pretty easy, BL2 TVHM was a nice difficulty jump because of the added/buffed units but TVHM in BL3 is sort of the same as normal (the anointed guys aren't that scary). One thing that I miss from BL2 are the scary bada** units and loot midgets. Compare the BA psycho from BL2 to BL3, the BL2 ones are relentless and hit like a tank, plus they, uh, tank like a tank. This being said I don't get mayhem mode, do people unlock it in normal then go right to TVHM? Do you do the leftover missions and DLC from normal to boost MM levels? Anyhow, definitely disable the guardian rank system which makes BL3 super easy.
